Buying Ilayaraja's CDs

Iam planning to replace my IR cassette collection
with CDs. I found about 90 films in oriental
records. This basicaly has the movies from '83
to '90. Where can I get the CDs of early IR
movies and also the late ones?. I searched in the
shops mentioned in raaja.com. But i couldnt find movies like sigappu rojakkal, padhinaru vayadhinile etc. Also Avatharam and few others.

Shall we collect availabilty of different movies, Atleast the most important ones in CDs?. The recording company that released it?.

  Forgot the mention, I searched only in the web. I have tried in any real store as yet. Chennai guys please tell about availability in stores there.

  you'll get plenty of IR CDs, but very of them are company stuff. most are pirated, but of top quality (malaysian and american imports). you can find them in ritchie street or burma bazaar

  I have a suggestion is it possible for Raajangahm guys to covert songs from tapes/records to CD and sell it thru their banner "RAAJANGAHM" so we can have all the good songs of Raaja in CD is it possible. They can even charge a trickle extra for Raaja foundation...and we Raaja fan will be too delighted to buy from Raajangahm

  I know a shop in toronto which sells Pirated CD's of Raaja, but they have a good collection of early , and mid 80's of Raaja's songs. The shop name is "Jeya & Brothers".
  As cram said, they are mostly from Malaysia, Swiss, Italy...

  I wouldn't mind paying top dollar for an IR CD/CD Collection with good sleeve notes - maybe with a few words from IR too (several LM, AB, Mukesh, Rafi collections from which you can take ideas). Yeah, I know you won't be able to say anything about this endeavour either ;-) - just say you'll try and I'll be happy enough ! It would also be nice if you could compile them into collections or periods in IR's music and strictly, strictly, very strictly keep out KR, YSR and Bhavatharini out of these CDs - you can create a separate collection for recent hits of IR, and guess who won't be buying one of that ;-)
  
  BTW, people like me can't wait to get hold of IR's CDs. So if Raajangahm does not deliver, we'd have no other option but to go and buy it from whatever sources have them available for sale. I'd so hate doing that. But another month, and if we don't hear from you guys, Oriental Records is going to get a lot of my business :-(

  Its really nice to see people with same ideas...RaajaNGAHM - Admn...another suggestion for u....U can start it from the collection in the period 70's - 80's(strictly hit songs and ofcoz some best BGM's) i think it wud be less problematic since those producers will b happy to sell the rights again...
