it's very sad that ir's building is going to be demolished but it's totally ir'a fault of violating the law by taking things for granted and proceeding with the building without prior legal permission .if celebrities do this way
it only sets a bad example to others.

if ir has a legal permission why should they
unnecessarily demolish his building , he could have easily proven his point and averted this destruction.

It seems quite surprising that IR embarked on a construction without permission. It somehow does not fit in with the rest of his disposition.
I wouldn't at all be surprised if some "influential" politician/official is trying to "settle scores" with IR.

I also feel that IR could not have gone out of reason in undertaking this project. Is that Jayalalitha back in power or what? One crude person.
But don't tell me that they have already started demolising the building and the accoustics etc.
What a shame to MMDA. There should be some special consideration to an exceptional citizen. The Chief Minister is also close to IsaiGnani. I am sure the fans shoud do something to support and enourage our Maestro.

However, if IR feels he has done some wrong, then let him give up the building and the idea itself. For we are not worthy of his legacy. The stupid and thankless people of South India do not deserve anything from Ragadevan. I can say that someone will definitely pay it back hundredfold.
Long live the Maestro and Raja Universal.

Digression
Can anyone throw more `tubelight' on whether during the previous govt in TN, buildings were just forcefully acquired by the powerful in Madras by goondas of the people in power even forcing the owners out ?
It is just so amazing that this kind of goondaraj is all we can expect.

I totally agree with what Sahnkar said. Eventhough I admire IR, if he had gone ahead and built the building without permission, then I'm sorry Mr.IR. On the same side I would definitely feel disappointed if its brought down.

I want to go on record opposing such threads about the personal lives of TFM celebrities no matter who it's about. What's next? ARR's dog got lost?
Come on guys, please, can we focus on Tamizh Film Music since that's what the page is about? If you feel so moved about a personal tragedy in your idol's life, please take it to a chat room, a personal website or Paattukku Paattu thread where everything gets discussed.
This is a ridiculous theme for a thread. ir edhiri, this is nothing personal here, I just oppose the trend this thread initiates.

The only reason this thread hasn't been deleted is that the building to be demolished is IR's recording studio and not his house or something like that. Let it be and it will die a natural death. If future developments warrant otherwise, we will step in.

Hi Fans:
The issue is not whether IR got the permission or not. If he has not got the permission, then he should be punished, as Shankar said. But the issue is about the stupidness of MMDA. What the hell they were doing until now. It is almost 4 years since the project started. They couldnt find out until that he (IR) didnt get the permission to
build it. That is what I am asking.
thanks,
Nesan

Is Dinakaran an anti-IR mags? I don't believe that IR has done anything without following procedures or rules.
Maybe it is the jealousy of AVM or Prasad Studios. IR will not do anything without the blessings of the people. So, if this thread is a joke by IR ehiri and dinakaran, let them know that we will not stay idle.

Thanks for advertising for PP page. :-))
But no thanks anyway.
For the PP is about the only thread, where every one is civil to each other and there is absolutely no fights, petty or otherwise. We would like it to remain as it is now, if you don't mind. Thanks. :-))

NOV,
Since you brought it up, I do kind of mind if the PP thread remains the way it does now. A month ago the number of people who participated in that thread was so varied. People who otherwise would have remained shy observers of the DF had an easy opportunity to participate by playing the paattukku paattu game. These days it has been reduced to a group of about 10 people.
Now, I have nothing personally against people having fun in a thread. I happen to know and appreciate a lot of these key participants in that thread. The point is, the PP thread has become exclusive for a few people whereas it should be inclusive of everybody.
If the TFMgroup wanted to foster fun exchanges, all they had to do was create a separate permanent thread and call it "Chat Room" where people can get together and exchange recipes and personal homilies to each other.
The activity numbers are high for the DF but rather than bringing new folks to the page, we are getting an extremely high frequency of hits from a select few people. Apparently this is okay by everybody. I think differently. I think this page can be better served.

Udhaya,
Thanks for your comments. A clarification:
People who otherwise would have remained shy observers of the DF had an easy opportunity to participate by playing the paattukku paattu game. These days it has been reduced to a group of about 10 people.
I'm sure many who are visiting the Paattukku Paattu page will disagree. I don't think it has become a 'tough oppurtunity' for anyone - shy observers or others. Simply because, the page has been still seeing new people who you hardly find in any other thread. I personally have met (and been meeting) people who post for the first time in DF. So I don't clearly understand your point.
Yes, we definitely want to make the thread better.

I remain unconvinced, but your point is well taken. I'll leave it at this. We can get back to whatever this thread is about.
