Kadal Pookal - Review

I just listened to Kadal Pookal - Bharadhiraja with Deva again. I was expecting something like
Kadhal Kootai from Deva, oops, a big disappointment !!. Album is not that good.

Overall 63.33 % which is a "C" .

1. Aadumeyuthe by Krishnaraj, Sathya
A very different Song, Sathya's voice is
very different. A Good Song. 80 %
The best one in the Album.

2. Alai Alai Alaikadale by Srinivas,Menon,and
Swarnalatha. Unni Menon starts the song, i feel
he is going kinda off.

Probably the theme song of the movie. A
Good Song. 80 %
The second best in the Album.

3 Paithiyamaanene UnniKrishnan, Harini
Not a bad one. 60 %. "Paadal Varigal" sucks.

4. Ogama Ogama Malaysia Vasudevan, Ganga
Sucks big time 50 %

5 Ogama Ogama (2) Deva
Again the same song 50 %

6. Siluvaikale Unni Mennon, Anuradha Sriram
This is okay. 60 %

  Very First thing I try to find in deva score! (ayooo! - big word:) is where was it lifted from!... Music fan: Were you able to identity the source for any of the songs :)

  in the siluvaigale song there is a line which goes like .......

  I bought a CD last week featuring 'baarathi' and 'iLaiyavan'. Inside the CD was an ad for 'kadal pookkaaL'. It had the pictures of Bharthiraja, Vairamuthu and Deva. All of them were posing with their hands on their chin, giving an expression of deep thought. The caption on top said, 'thirai ulaga brammaakkaLin koottaNiyil'!!!!

  Anyways, kadal pookkal seems to be good. Its okay.

  I feel responsible for the gibberish because I started it.
  
  There is a character in S.Ve.Shekar's drama 'kaadhula poo', who talks like this. I bought a CD which said Deva is a 'brammhaa'. Vimal said it should've been vajrakumban and also said that this character comes in 'kaadhula poo'. Hope you get the trip.......
