  Digression:
  
  This is Bhanupriya's first and best (according to her) film.
  
  "Recently in www.Niharonline.com, vamsy writes his experinces with Ilayaraja. One must read it and know the importance of Ilayaraja BGM for movies. Vamsy stated that the time first +ve print of Sitara shown to Viswanath, SPB, Gummadi etc..., everybody discouraged Vamsy even the producer Yedida Nageswarao. Paled Vamsy went to Ilayaraja and asked him to complete the re-recording. After watching the entire movie Raja told vamsy that he has taken very good film which surely will get fame and name. After re-recording completed, Vamsy showed the movie to every one only to receive big applause. Vamsy said it's all because of Ilayara background score. Same thing happened to all his movies including Maharshi...listen to the power of it."

  I think I V Sasi /IR combo's first movie was `pagalil oru iravu' (remember `iLamai enum poongAtRu'?). The combo did a couple of films after that (kALi, guru) I think.
  
  RC Sakthi / IR combo's first (probably only) movie is dharmayudhdham. (AgAya gangai, oru thanga radhathil)
  
  CV Rajendran / IR - I remember one `garjanai' which had catchy songs...I'm not sure whether he had done any Shivaji-IR film before that...was kavarimAn by him?
  
  TN Balu - sattam en kaiyil (sorgam madhuvilE)
  
  K Rangaraj - I'm not sure whether `unnai nAn sandhithEn' was his first film with IR (motherland pictures)...I think the film that has the song `pArijAdham, pagalil poothadhu' predates this. In any case, his debut film was with S-G
