run has released all over india...music is by vidyasagar....6 songs..4 songs are good in my point.plus one of the song is awsome...sung by hariharan....

  But WHY this vidyasagar is bringing Udit Narayan back to TFM ? His pronounciation is stupid and the worst I have ever heard ...

  Vidhyasagar is one of the best music directors in india and there is no need for him to folow the footsteps of ARRehaman and bring bombay singers like udith narayan and get popularity out of it. Sadhana sargam has sung 3 songs one with harish raghvendra one with hariharan and one with ( dont remember). We still have great singers like chithra here and what is the need to use sadhana srgam for so many songs.

  You are right, I don't think even ARR has used SS for three songs in the same album - IR and KR have used her for two songs (Dumm3 and Kizhakkum MaeRkum)

  Vidyasagar follows a kind of music pattern. He mixes some of IR's interludes with his own songs, which gives the now modern synthesized song , a melody touch, without losing its tredy outset. It is not copying, but a touch of genius on Vidyasagar's part, in using the multiple melodies concept, which is the forte of IR. Similarities between IR and Vidyasagar are inevitable.

  Well, since everybody has been rating "run" songs, I thought I would add my bit too. Catchy songs once you get to hear them once or twice
  
  1) Theredi veediyil - 8/10 (good beat, novel lyrics)
  2) panikaattre paravasama - 8/10 (melody, good lyrics, good singing)
  3) kaadhal pisaasu - 7/10 (the minus would be the singing of Udit Narayanan)
  4) poi sollakoodadhu - 7.5/10 (slow melody, too slow for my liking, but good lyrics)
  5) minsaaram en meedhu - 6.5/10 (good beat, good singing, average lyrics, but the guy seems to be singing kaadhal teyee, chaai, chaaiya maadhiri)
  6) ichuda - 6/10 (good beat, naarasamaaana lyrics- it has lines like poriyal, varuval et al)
