  Is your album English/Tamil/mixed/some other Indian language. For something tat needs to sound surreal and new age-like, I suggest using some Sanskrit name. (No offence to Tamil lovers, don't 1 2 get caught in a battle here!)

  sanskrit, latin or even greek, if u want to internationalize the whole thing....but u should specifize the themes of ur album, love and nature is bit less information...
  u know what amadeus means? (that's the second name of mozart the great musician) it means someone who loves god. in latin: amor = love, deus = god and his third name is theophil (or something like that) and this also means someone who loves god, but this time greek: theo = god, philo = love...
  i don't speak tamil so i can't suggest anything in tamil, sorry....

  how do you htink sanskrit name will go well with new age? dont be funny... sanskrit name like what?

  ?? I cant think of any!. It all sounds like matniee malayalam movies. human's titles are much better!.
  
  raycas...greek gods are overused. leave them in peace. same old orion veritas zues etc etc.
  
  Its not in the language of the name, its about the content. If you its good it can make a name by itself. like sony, hitachi, honda etc.. who knows the meaning in the west?

  do u think sony, hitachi, honda etc have no meanings? that they were just names created by someone? most of such products have their name from old languages like sanskrit or latin...
  i remember, just some days ago i read about some famous product and read the actual meaning of that came from latin....but i don't remember which name that was...forgot...i'll write another time...
  really funny, someone wanted suggestions for an album name, and what are the others doing? discussing if one can use this for that...or what one should not do and what one should better do and things like that...a discussion...and the beginner of this thread just wanted suggestions for names...

  I didnt say hitachi and sony dont have a meaning...
  they do ..but in japanese..A language not known in the west. still west like the products..even though they are not familiar with those names in the begining. tamil is as old as latin and sanskrit..why do you think there can be worth while names in it? just like japanese found worthwhile names in thier own language? why only latin and sanskrit?.

  it was just a suggestion, to take latin or sanskrit, not like 'only take latin and sanskit'..
  and the other issue...japanese is an unknown language for the west, okay, but do u really thing a lot of people are well versed in latin or sanskrit? sure, there are people who study them and deal with them, but still, the mass has no idea about latin, that's for sure...so in this case, it's still an 'unknown' language, just like japanese...
  it was all just a suggestion...i will surely not be sad if it is not accepted...

  whatevet it is, the market place is important. what is the use of an album having a title like amadeas or something if its reach is for tn?
  
  sony has no meaning in jap. its original name was different and when it decided to enter western markets, they decided to have some name sounding like a western name.
  
  anyhow, why waste our time, if the person who started this do not care?

  I don't think people buy hitachi/sony or whatever becos the name sounds good or has some deep meaning. They buy it bcos of the product quality/ price/ etc attached to the name.
