  ARR is using songs from his movies in this musical. He is using Shakalaka Baby, Thaiya Thaiya and Enge EN punnagai from Thalam. Just because people buy his records, it is unfair to cheat ALW by making him believe that ARR has spent much time scoring original music for this musical.

  Suresh, ALW initially asked ARR if he cud make majority of the musical from his (ARR's) movie scores. ARR refused to do tis and insisted on making new music. Hence, now ALW is using ARR's movie scores for only about 30% of the musical. Tis is ALW's decision. ARR is not cheating him. Pls read the articles and interviews carefully before making such baseless statements.

  From what I read in rediff.com and in some other newspaper sites about bombay dreams,it looks like ALW himself was keen on using the above mentioned numbers after watching Taal and Dilse.Is that cheating ? ..Isnt it jsut like using the tamil version of the songs in telugu / hindi and viceversa upon the producers request..? Why is it required to be different just because it is a "firang" production :). Arr has this standard process for all producers and as long as the songs sound new to the listeners abroad, it isnt a big deal I guess. :)
