Sharath- Music Director

I have heard from many different sources about the enormous talents and composing skills of this new Music Director. While his area of work may not be completely within TFM alone, I request informed participants of the DF to contribute any info. on him - notably movies, songs, bio, resume, origin, etc.

  Hello
  The album by Chithra is called "Chaitrageethangal". The music is composed by Sharreth. Sung by Chithra and Sreenivas. It is produced by Audiotracs and marketed by BMG Cresendo. The CD is available now.
  
  As some one mentioned in this thread Sharreth and Keeravani are not the same person. Keeravani is a different music director who goes by different names in diffrerent languages. Keeravani in Malayalam and Telugu. Marathakamani in Tamil and M.M. Kreem in Hindi

  The singer accompanying KJY is raveendran himself . while MGS is soft, this guy gives some "vidhya-garvam" in his tone( which the character singing the song requires) and hence (i think) raveendran's version was used in the movie.
  
  Sujith starts with "mEgha rAgangal.....swara roopam dhaivadham"

  Sharath married daughter of Kannur Rajan Music director of Malayalam Music director.
  He was also a very good composer.

  Thanks guys. Sharath is quite talented. I am glad to have discovered him through this forum. His orchestrization does remind a little bit of KVM and IR, or maybe I cannot just get them out of my mind. Can anyone give the link to Chaitrageethangal?

  My favorite songs of Sarath are 'Aa Raagam' from Kshanakaattu and 'Maayamanjalil' from Ottayal Pattalam, both set to raagam Hamsadhwani. I also really like some of the songs from the film Sindhoora Rekha.

  Another Gems from Sharath - 'Thalamayanju...' (raga Dwijawanthi) from the film 'Pavithram'. What a song!!! I got a feel of Yesudas voice just as in a Raveendran composition. The base of his voice is beautifully exploited in this song.

  'Thalamayanju' is a darn good composition, although I'd say that whoever said it was based on raaga Dwijavanthi is way off!! I'd say it's more like Sudhadhanyasi.

  I think Sharath follows "raveendran style"
  My personal favourites are "maaleyam maarodananhu" from thacholi varghese chevakar,"mayamanjalil" from ottayal pattalam,kshanakath,pavithram etc..I wonder why his talant is not being tapped properly..! No one is giving him chance except T.K Rajeevkumar.

  Hey guys, I would like to know something. Did Sarath do the music for 'Oru Mutham Mani Mutham?' Tonight I heard one song in that film and there was the brass pieces and fast-paced instrument playing typical in a number of other Sarath composed songs. If not, then who did the music for OMMM?
