Hi, has anyone heard this album.
Kadhale Swasam is a decent debut by a yet another talented MD. Some of the songs are very pleasing to hear.
1) Kadhale Swasam - Hariharan & Sujatha
2) Sokuthe Kadhal Sokuthe - Sonu Nigam & Chitra
3) Manam Valikithe - Hariharan
4) Groovy Guys - Timmy & Nithyasree
5) Summa Iru - Sonu Nigam & Mathangi
6) Machi - Iman & Chorus
I enjoyed upon buying this CD. It`s worthful buying. The music has a blend of classic and modern beat as well as latin touch.

what is wrong with this album guys - get a life - all songs are pleasant to listen to and much better than most other albums released in the recent past - if we cannot appreciate and encourage new/fresh talents - TFM would be stuck with a bunch of monotonous songs! great effort by the MD - this being his first album...

I agree. Great songs by Imaan. We should encourage new talent, not put it down. Looking forward to his second album.

some really good foot tapping numbers by the debutant...One of the better Debuts in TFM...much better than what YSR gave during his initial days(remember aravindan)...

Fantastic debut, considering Imaan's only 18 or 19.

Nac please remember that YSR was only 15 or 16 when he first entered TFM.His first smash hit Poovellam Jaytuppar was at the age of 17!This is not a YSR bashing forum so please talk about Iman for his positive qualities rather than trying to get one over on YSR.Don't make this a Imaan Vs YSR thread

there is nothing special about IMAM music
period. HJ debut album was better inspired, copied whatever and raised the eyebrows of many.
but i dont find anything that exciting in this album, may be the next album will be better

Definitely this album is worth a buy!!! Considering its his first movie i am definitely happy at the way he has come out...For a guy still in his teens, his recording quality, mixing and orchestration is stunning!!! The music is crystal clear...i dunno why chiyan is saying it's noisy??? May be he would have listened those songs in a poor quality real player or cassette player...Withour any argument the music recording was very very clear...not noisy at all...But all i am worried is with actors like karthik, meena, kutti padmini's daughter and a new guy in the lead role and kutti padmini's husband Prabhu Nepal himself Directing it, the chances for the movie to be a blockbuster are very very slim!!! Hope that doesn't affect the MD Imaan.

Good heart Im saying that the album is good ok but imman put to much mix in the tracks like ... sokuthey and summa iru.. why u know because imman is a Remix maker man for Agathian .... im also dont know the people say imman is relation to HJ

Its great orchestration alright. But I feel he put too much of that into the songs that it sort of destroyed the song itself. I see tons of talent..but you dont have to show it off in each the songs..spread it out on the album and not on each song. A part of the learning experience is to limit the orchestrations and keep it simple yet classy. I'm sure we'll be hearing a lot more from you.

I should add that I cant believe this much talent in a 17 year old...puts many other elders into shame! He just has to learn to use it right.

It is a fantastic album, comparable to earlier albums by ARR.Tamil film music has made tremendous
progress in its concept and imagination. It augurs well for the future of tamil music.I live in the UK and grew up listening to various genre of music.Tamil film music is second to none.

Kadhalae Swasam is an effort by Rising Star Imman to please both the Middle age and Young audience. The nativity for a tamil song is clearly seen in the album generally. Imman takes the credit for it entirely, as this is hit even before the movie is released. I expect this album to become a big hit in Tamil nadu.It is in New Zealand
Manam Valikuthe is soulfully rendered by Hariharan. He deserves the best singer award for many songs he has sung so far, this year. Hariharan excels in the charanam of this song. Interludes are just adequate.
Sokuthey sung by Sonu Nigam and Chitra one another song which comes close to an original tamil song. The pallavi is very good, especially at the phrase parvaikho kadhalin swasam– nalla effect. The charanam is superb, the high pitch rendition by Chitra is of superlative category. Groovy Boys sung by Timmy and Nithyashree is a typical namba song with the lyrics taking us instantly to the new millenium (!) Very stylish song, already a runaway hit. Tu ru ruturu, tururuturu humming which periodically comes in the song freshens you up. Imman neenga engeyo poyiteenga! The funny language in the 2nd interlude is quite interesting. Impressive debut by Imman. The echoes after each phrase in the song sound great.
Kadhale kadhale swasam sung by Hariharan starts off great. It is aimed at the middle age and has been scored very well, good on you Imman, Great going. The music is grand and I am sure
it will be well accepted This album on the whole has great melodious tunes sprinkled over. I am able to give thumbs up rating because of the of the recent movies which you cannot even listen in the theatre.
lighter sense
Imman use your originality and you will not rise as a star as you are already one, but you will be one among the stars.
Chhers
Sneha
