  Why is that when an Album doesnt farewell, you'll brand that person off as "useless". I can remember half of TMF goers saying same thing thing about ARR, but didnt he come back with BOYS?

  The way some behave in this forum is pretty juvenile. I dont think any Music Directors would appreciate the fans who condemn other MDs. Its alright if you prefer a certain MD over another, but why bad mouth the MD you dont like? Thats not being a true fan. I dont think ARR would be happy, or anyone other MD for that matter to see one of their competition getting sacked by the fans left and right. I dont think its easy to be an MD and try to meet the crazy fan's standards.

  Leave apart the great prophecy seen by the 'Genius Fans of AR Rahman' regarding the end of HJ's career... the claim that Arasatchi and Ullam Kaetkumae are bad is itself debatable. Yet to hear Arasatchi,... but Ullam Kaetkumae is not disappointing.. It will surely be a hit. We can wait and see these geniuses lamenting even more by that time.

  I think we expect too much from MD's... Well, lets see, a certain MD gives a very good album, and you are sorta expecting the same, and perhaps a little higher quality than the first one... But what if all the MD sees is... "Dude, my album got a good rating and I seem to have fans, and seems like I hit the goldmine, so I should do the same thing and they'll love it", and so he/she does it... The fans are like "ah.. another one", but then the fans are like "Wait a minute, it sounds just the same like the first one...", and the rating isnt all that good, and the MD is like, "Hmmm, maybe I should try another flavor" and it keeps going.. on adn on and on... and The fans are like "WHOAAAAAAAAa, this dude is DA BOMB! He's gonna make more variety", and the expectation goes up, and the MD thinks blah blah, and the fans are like blah blah...

  The worst thing for any artist is believe their fans are MORONS..
  I personally think, it is their responsibility to create their identity and as well satisfy themselves, give the best for their targeted audience, they cannot succumb to all these pressures, that is what distinguishes various MD's Look at Isaignani or Isaipuyal what they did...
  
  Btw i am not disputing HJ to be not talented, i like his Minnale, 12b and KK which were complete albums..

  I'm just tired of coming here and finding out half the forum lashing out MD's just because its not their fave. Sometimes it takes a while to get used to some of the music nowadays, so some of the albums and songs just need a few patient listening?

  hi guys, let me give my opinion on arr vs hj.
  arr is a good musician who uses technology. hj is a good technician who composes music. there is a big difference. hj does a pretty decent job, and everybody knows that. he does not have a school of thought. any art begins with thoughts that lead to a set of feelings and then you behave. technology is the behavior part of this sequence. these days youngsters especially focus more on the behavior aspects of music and hence focus more on the keyboard/ special efects etc.
  
  i am a musician myself and have successfully completed my first song. lyrics by vairamuthu, sung by unnikrishnan, and will hopefully released in a movie. i am working with the producer who is planning on introducing me as a guest composer. I am in the process of mastering the song. hopefully one day you guys will be talking about me. ha ha ha

  Even though I dont like/understand the idea of comparing music directors, just the fact that HJ is even being compared with ARR is a big compliment to HJ.

  With two albums we cannot say any conclusion. Look at the movie HJ composed till now all are hit.Without MR,BR,Kamal,Rajini etc he could win his guru ARR.It is really an achievement.
  Can we say ARR is end wrt the flops arasan,uzhavan,vandicholai chinnarasu,pavithra etc..

  Whether HJ deserves to be compared or not is of no significance. More of his songs are on people's lips currently compared to your beloved ARR and that's what matters now.

  Good that you are thinking about it. That was exactly my point. You can compare any MD with ARR. Just because you compare anyone with a genius they dont automatically get elavated to that level. Only good and popular songs get a MD good name.

  Comparing HJ with ARR is certainly more reasonable and justified than comparing ARR with IR. ARR fans used to get wild when people said he didn't deserve to get comapared with IR. Now, they come a full circle.

  Known Fact that ARR steals tunes. Thats ok, atleast tunes are worth stealing.
