which song do you think has the grandest orchestration in TFM?

My favorites are
1)Poomalaiye from pagal nilavu-magnificent.every time i listen to this song i pick up some new aspects in its music.
2)Andhi mazhai
3)engey nimamdhi.
i think , one of loss,in recent years after advent of synthetic music has been loss of such songs.

  how can one forget the modern violin concerto from raajapaarvai?-I consider this to be the best orchestrated music in TFM,why TFM,in indian film music-this piece was way ahead of its times.in 5 minutes one goes thru carnatic, wcm ,jazz etc.however this isnot a song.listen to it at raaga .com -go to actors-kamal-page4.

  If I have to assign ranks..I will give 'engE nimmathi' the top spot ..strings.. chorus.. effects (reverb, storm winds etc) .. majestic voice.. lyrics etc.. it IS GRAND ORCHESTRATION.. I am amazed they pulled this kind of a quality recording those days..

  Does Grand Orchestration means managing a huge number of instrument players????
  Then "Rakkamma kaya thattu" will top the list IMHO.
  Other songs in which the Orchestration was soo nice IMO was
  1)Etho mogam etho thaagam..
  2)Andhi mazhai pozhihgirathu
  3)Sundari kannal oru sethi
  4)Yaar veetu rooja poo pothathoo..
  5)Raaja kaiya vacha athu..
  6)Poove sempoove...

  "Veerapandi Kotaiyile..." has got brilliant orchestration and everytime I hear it, it brings out a different dimension...ARR was brilliant in this Western Opera and Tamil folk fusion
  
  
  Biggest JOKE...Cosmician do u know what is means by orchestration....summa music library il irunthu eduthutta athu real orchestrated song ayidathu...I doubt ARR recorded it live...he dare try doing that.

  BTw, I think this thread is for "the grandest orchestration in TFM"...not the best orchestrated one in ARR's music..his songs cannot even make an entry here :-))

  (2) guru is a very nice album with great songs.

  Of course songs of raaja is supreme but I would count on the haunting melody of MSV from
  Karnan numbers.
  1. Nenjam Marapathillai.
  2. Puthiya Paravai - (Paartha Gnabagam)Susheela solo and Enge Nimmadhi.
