Is this a new album by IR?wasn't sure, he is one of the singers in this album.But I haven't heard anything about this album.Is it new or old?

It sounds like his stuff.Most of the songs are festival folk songs.

01 - Kaattukili Kaattukili-Kartik,Bavatharani
folkish song - enjoyable though i could swear ive heard this tune sumwhere before.nice to hear kathik singing this its sumthin different by him.
02 - Otharooba Paattu Unakku - Tippu Malathi
otharooba inthu paatuku naan kudukka mataen =P
03 - Engga Ooru Laila - Tippu Manjari
out of the times...yucky
04 - Sadamaada Pechukellam- VijayJesudass,Manjari
old school song sung with talented voices.nice.
05 - Enna Petha athannu - Ilayaraja
festival folk song.
06 - Kotti Vecha Muthey - Lavanya
my favorite number in this album.nice and simple,nuthin heavy sung sweetly.

Anyone kno when this album was from and who the MD is?Im thinkin IR.

  Memories are very short!
  It was only a month or two back, it was on the news that there is going to be a brand new movie by this name with Kushboo in the lead!
  Then Kushboo backed out or dropped and the folk dancer who wanted to produce this movie, decided to cast herself as the heroine and the movie schedule is more than 1/2 over!
  !!!!!!!!!!!!
  There is also a brand new Malayaalam album by IIr released recently, as told by the IIR yahoo group moderator,today, in a mail!!
