Tamil actor dies, two others injured in fire

Actor Vijayan (Sri Lankan,Tamil ??) passed away in a fire accident :(

  Chumma, in Punnahai Mannan, he is the guy who tries to protect the Sinhalese girl Revathy from the two misguided Eelam youth saying 'kaLirodu mothividu, katterumbai vittu vidu' (Battle with the elephant, let the small ant be)
  
  Interestingly, at that time, the UNP was in power and UNPs symbol was the Elephant. I am not sure if the pun was intentional on KBs part.

  So let me get this straight; there were two different Vijayans in Tamil cinema-- one a supporting actor all along and the other known to act side-by-side with Sudhakar in the late 70s and very early 80s? Which one are we referring to here? Did this Vijayan look something like Rajinikanth with long hair?

  There is no correct report about Vijayan; One says he is dead and the other like Hindu said only injured.Whom to believe?Why condolence ??
