  Arr has truly proved himself in Kadhalar dinam and Alaipayuthe.Why ar you guys fighting over whether ARR or IR are the best?It's not like either of them is grateful to you or is going to come and say thanks for defending them.Why don't you just appreciate the music for what it is!

  I'm not an ARR fan; but in my opinion, his best albums are 'Iruvar' and 'Karuthhammaa', because he proved himself when he got an opportunity to suit the film rather than give a collection of songs.

  In my view,the best album by ARR till now is only jeans. Especially the song "Adhisayam" is the song which i like very much.The song has been beautifully sung by Unnikrishnan & Sujatha.

  i find it very difficult to point one as his best.
  
  if to rate,
  1. Bhol Sajni - Doli Saja Ke Rakhna gets my vote as his best song ever. Its mesmerizing
  as is Swasame from Tenali..
  
  Indra, Iruvar, Zubeidaa, Uzhavan are too good. and of course there is Rhythm, Roja, Vandhe Mataram, ESK, Pudhiya Mugham, Thiruda Thiruda, Duet... the list never seems to end. Guys, is there some album of a.r.rahman we CAN exclude as 'not worth counting'?! maybe Rangeela except Pyaar Ye Jaane Kaisa Hai, I believe the rest were sub-ARR standard ..
  But I believe KKKK, as a whole album,is his best ever...Now there is news of Robot, Lagaan and Parthale Paravasam (rahman works again with k.balachander), i pray he prove me wrong.

  Instead of one complete film, "Best Song" is preferable, bcoz in a film on an average he scores 3-4/5 best songs..
  
  I still will vote for Rythm and Alaipayuthe.. we can see his maturity [includes innovative melody with already existing innovative beats] in these movies..

  ARR i IsaiPuyalaga Adaiyalam Kattiya, ROJA.PUDHIYAMUGAM and GENTLEMAN...Navarasamum indha Moondru Pada Padalgalil Adakkam....Yenna oru Qwali type song is missing...Otherwise these three are must in any ARR fan's Collections...A.A.
