MSV, IR and ARR love to sing a song whenever they get an oppurtunity. As a singer too they are one of a kind. It will be good to analyse their strengths and weaknesses in singing in different aspects..high pitch, prounication, melody, etc.,
Hope we do an objective exercise and don't take the normal AR-IRR war here too..

Idhenna kELvi? Most definitely MSV-dhaan.
IR and ARR could sing just because they were the composers of their songs. MSV could have become a singer even if he wasn't a composer.

YSR has a good voice,I liked his singin in Kanmunney and Idhu Kadhala from Thulluvadho Elamai. KR in my opinion has a voice worse than anybody.WHy do MD's have 2 sing?WHy cant they just stay behind the scenes if they are killers!
WHat about Bhavadharini, she would probably have to rank among one of the best singer/MD's based on the judgements of some of the posters!
What is the world coming to!

ARR is undoubtedly the best. Dil Se Re is the best song ever sung and composed!
Bad diction is the lamest excuse ive heard. If al u want is diction and a horrible voice, ask vairamuthu to sing.

Who Sings better among the MD's - MSV, IR or ARR?
Which religion is better among all religions? Hinduism, Christinism or Islamism?
NOM to any MD/religion.

Just to clarify what I meant. I see a lots of commness between Music and Religion. No one can and should argue which one is better/worse religion. I see good songs in smaaru MDs and bad songs in good MDs. So what's the point?
No point in talking who is better. It is quite difficult to say who is best and why because the taste is a relative matter based on individual perception, grown up with etc., etc., We adopt to it because we think we like it. (Common to both Music and Religion)

1.IR
2.YSR
3.ARR
This opinion is based solely on singing ability.IR has the tru emotion and feeling in his songs.YSR sings well for an MD as shown in Idhu Kadhala which has no Chorus singing and is a solo piece by him.ARR is ok but doesn't seem too confident with his voice and therefore tends toput in a lot of chorus, layering, echo and reverb into his songs.
OR
1.YSR
2.ARR
3.IR
When based on voice.YSR sounded very youthful in Kanmunney and Idhu Kadhala,ARR was very smooth in Hamma Hamma and Vellai Pookal. And IR was ok in Ennai Thaalata Varuvaala and Engengo Kaalkal Sellnum.

IMHO
no chance for ARR, YSR and likes...
my opinion is first IR and very narrowly next MSV. both have disadvantages and advantages. they are the best in TFM history as good singers also.
btw could someone list the songs of bharatwaj.

."Chinna vayasila odi pidichom"
"Nitham kabadikal adi jeyichom"
Who can forget this touching song singer and musician Bharathwaj!
I will never list him with AR or IR as music is concerned...BUT in that song his voice is the best!
Also is
"Avar avar vaalkayil 1000 1000 maatrankal"
By the way someone said KR is the worst singer..
KR may b the killer but there is a serial killer
Rajkumar.. yukky voice... like a kudikara nai

I liked Bharatwaj's voice in "Avaravar Vazhkayil aayiram aayiram arthangaL" from Paandavar Boomi. I'm not sure if he has sung few other songs.
