Why is Kannathil Muthamitial so low??

I just saw the poll of the song rating for this site and it is so biased. Why is songs like nandha up the top. Apart from one song the other songs were normal. And Kasi, hey the movie was touching but not the songs. Alaghi i agree was good it should be there. Manthai thiriduvitai was so so. Just a few humable tunes. Surely Kannathil mutahmaital needs to be at the top. The songs are new and different are a breath of fresh air from the normal songs. Before people start swearing at me that i am a rahman fanatic...stop there I'AM NOT!!! I just love music.
So what is happening???

  Hi everybody (who like sensible movies in Tamil- which is very unusual in these years)
  I Happened to watch KM in NY last week. One more master piece from MR, it's just too good especially so becuase of contributions from every person in the movie. Photography, story, screenplay, Dialogues by Sujatha, ARR' music ( this is the only movie after Iruvar in which I liked ARR's BGM, it is pretty neat, although there are couple of "Lagaan" song shades in few occassions, all in MHO) good acting by the entire crew. Keerthana's performance is just fantastic, appropriate with out too much of histrionics (like the last Scene in Anjali "Yenduru Anjali.....Yenduru Anjali....Yenduru Anjali....Yenduru Yenduru....., kind of stuff)
  
  It is definitely a different kind of movie from the mundane stupid movies churned out by the so called young as well as seasoned directors. Definitely not the Alaipayudhe kind of recycled stuff, but an original, aunthetic, sensitive theme handled extremely well by MR.
  
  The male version of title song , picturization is just amazing, MR you did it again. We don't mind waiting for MR's this kind of movies even if it takes more than a year for every movie to be made.
  I had earlier written my review about the songs in another thread, MR could have limited to just the title songs and the MSV/Bhalram BG song , for the entire movie, as these are the only songs which just mix well with the narration, instead of the other songs, probably ARR could have concentrated more on BGM or even utilized the music for BGM more effectively.
  
  The crap about the songs not having been made an inpact for TV publicity, doesn't make any sense, as if , there were no tamil hit movies before these kinds of artficial hypes. A good movie also needs a good support by good audience and viewers, well with the degenerating tastes of TN makkal, making the stupidest movies like "kushi", Citizen ( Not sure if it was a hit, Dheena or even the mediiocre rehash melodramas like "vaanathu pole" as great hits, I don't know how successful will this movie be.
  
  Again, not always a good movie should have 5 or six hit songs to make it a big hit, Ex: Sigappu rojakkal, not able to recollect others, but there are many movies with just 2 or 3 songs yet being great movies as a whole.
  
  In recent times I had a great pleasure of watching few good movies, to name "Kutti, Azgagi, Kadal pookkal ( what a misery of missing IR in BGM) and Kaasi, but KM definitely stands above and apart from being a different movie in Tamil.
