Hello there!!

I'm the greates fan of tamil music you ever can find in this world. And when I say I'm the greatest I really mean it!!

I would like to know more about Unnikrishnan. He has a super voice, and sing really good.
So tell me anything about him.

  Unni climbed a few more notches in my already high esteem when I heard that his favorite song in "Jeans" was "Anbae Anbae" sung by Hariharan. Isn't it nice to see this kind of magnanimity exist in today's egotistical world?

  I'd like to share my exprience at Unnikrishnan's Concert in London - Tamil Orphans Trust - 6th September 1998
  
  I will be giving a review in the HUB Carnatic Section(please give me 2 weeks, I may not have time to do it today), but I just want to share this excellent evening with you all....
  
  UnniK came across as a lovely young man, with his beautiful wife Priya, who accompanied him on the Tambura. He spoke perfect English and announced all the songs in the first half, in his very listenable woice. He announced that he would not be singing film songs, as it required a 'different setup'. He also said that he may give a film song concert sometime soon.
  
  He used the first half of the concert to do the heavy pieces, Todi main piece, but no Ragam Thanam Pallavi.
  
  The second half was a set of nice light pieces, like Krishna Nee, Jegath Janani, Some Bhajans, all in very nice ragams and exposed beautifully in his Unique Carnatic Style and wonderful voice.
  
  His accompanists were also excellent and he really enjoyed performing before a very keen audience.
  
  THE HIGHLIGHT
  -------------
  Three of my friends and I went up onto the stage to see him. He's incredibly friendly and very very curteous. When people asked him to step off the stage fro photos, he obliged with no pushing, he's a very Fan Friendly guy.
  
  He signed everyones autographs and also smiled for all the photos taken. unfortunately Priya was not around at the time.
  
  It was the birthday of one of my friends as I told him that she was celebrating by coming to his concert.
  
  He proceeded to wish her wholeheartedly.
  
  Well, what can I say, it was an excellent evening, as excellent concert and he's a Wonderful chap - young, friendly and very humble, for his fame, he extrudes all the good qualities of people and is so nice.

  I'am a great fan of UnniK.He has a sweet voice.But one disapointing thing is that he is not singing many songs now because he is on world tour .
