IR's influence on KR & YSR

I just saw the movie "Poovellam Kettuppar". A few of the songs in that movie had a lot of "Raja touch" in it. Had I not known that YSR composed for the movie, I would've probably thought it was IR's work. Songs that I tought were IR'ish:

Poovellam maalaigaL aagum (Title song)
Irava Pagala

The same could be said about some of KR's songs in Ullasam and Kaadhala Kaadhala.

Anyone with a similiar view?
