Tamil Music written in Western Notation is easily played by almost anyone who can read standard notation. This means we could pass the music sheets to any band etc and they can actually play. I have done this with a few pieces. I would like to try a few more. Anyone who has or knows of any Tamil music (of any type - carnatic, film, naddu paadal etc. written in Western Notation, please email direct. ganeshan@ihug.co.nz I would be willing to pay for stuff if it is of the right quality. Thanks.

Ganeshan: We have a separate thread called music notes for film songs. Kindly look there for any notes that you might find useful. This site is devoted to Tamil Film Music and not tamil music in general. Please constrain your queries to TFM alone. Thanks.
