Vidhyasagars obsession with Bombay singers

These days one can clearly find Vidhyasagar using lots of Bombay singers and trying to follow the footsteps of ARR contrast to his earlier policies of promoting local talents.Most of the songs of his are being sung by Tamil Kolai fame Udit Narayan ,Sadhana Sargam ,KK.Why is he obsessed with Mumbaikars these days?Does a true and genuine music director like him have to fall a prey to ARR cult again?
