New and young singers taking over film music scene-TFM and now MFM too

In TFM,this wave already started sometime back.The old timers are vanishing from the scene and new people taking over.I can see the same trend in Malayalam Film scene now.
This is perhaps happening after almost a long period, say , a quarter of a century.Should it take such time or should it be a frequent affair?

In TFM, ARR appears to be the man who brought this trend.MFM ,when saw the trend, switched over or followed the trend.How is it in other languages? Can we discuss the plus and minus points of this scenerio? Invite feed back from all
trend watchers of film music.
