Maddy ‘s new film announced!

A dream combination of Madhavan, director K.S.Ravikumar and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja come together in Damini Enterprises' latest film Aethiree (the opponent).

The tagline of the film -- a lovable enemy.

Said Madhavan: “It is an action comedy and the subject is fresh and appealing”. Sada, the hottest heroine after the success of Jayam plays the female lead. The film has music by Yuvan.

Unperturbed by the lukewarm reception of Jay Jay, Maddy soldiers on, and this film is sure to suit his image of a lover boy with a streak of action in which he excels. Run proves that.

Adds Ravikumar: “I make only fast paced entertainers and Aethiree is sure to live up to the audience expectation”.

  Puthu...released today at www.oosai.com songs are average. YSR only gives good numbers to good directors/stories it seems so..at least to me....which is why i have high hopes for ETHRI =T

  Its ARR again with AE doing good sales,Aethiree figures nowhere?
  As for as Thenali goes there was a melodious number 'Porkazham'(which was again stupidly picturised)..other than that the movie with its 'loose' story is not a place where ARR can give good stuff.That movie deserved it only.

  YSR did lift one song fully in Kadhal kondein. But in the other two, one of it is just starting music and other is only inspiration(not a lift). Once one blatant lift is proved, ARR fans conveniently said all of them are blatant lifts.
  
  Kaicha Maram Thaan kalladi padum". This was true for ARR when it comes to comparison with IR and is holding true for YSR when it comes to comparison with ARR.

  This week's AV says that Yuvan has done a good job in the BGM area but songs are not up to the mark except one. How is the bgm? is it really good? Yuvan recently in an interview told that he is interested in doing bgm than songs. I wish he puts more energy into songs too. He has to do it if he wants to stay on top.

  KSR -- is a good director with undue bad feeling about IR. He is not a great music lover and you can see from his movies. None of his movies had a great music score (either by ARR, IR or anyone else).

  i watched the movie a few times and there werent any outstanding bgm. He could have used the 'bottle mani' song a lil better for madhavan; it was just thrown in there and stops abruptly. But there was a realli nice song he added in at the last min to the movie (2nd song in movie) which didnt make it to the cd.

  YSR has done a supreme BGM work in Perazhagan. The tille music piece which is later used during a crucial emotional scene between chinna and Senbagam when she sees him first. I watched the movie in an excellent DTS sound theatre twice specially to catch this music piece again...I wish they would release such pieces together with the song CDs.....YSR the great!!!!!

  First in 7GRC thread, it wasn't me posted some absurd messages. I started the thread but someone used my nick name and has been posting all over.
  
  Anyway back to the topic, yes, even in Kathal Kondein, he has done excellent job in BGM. Later they released the soundtrack with bgm pieces. I hope for 7GRC they will do it again. I guess YSR is the best after IR in the BGM area. Just listen to the soundtrack of KK, you will agree!
