MSV - Movies with all songs good.

I saw a thread on IR. As a MSV fan, I could not control myself. I am very much sure that I am not alnoe and there are plenty of MVS fans. Please try to keep this thread alive.
It is very big list. I'll try something and people can continue.

  arul, the bottom line here is msv gives best music :) :) :)
  
  once MGR was bugging msv too much for a tune, and asked him to come for composing for few weeks non-stop, msv got irritated sent the harmonium to mgrs houseand asked him to composer further. Mgr latter called him and pacified him it seems.:) :)

  This includes

  2. Bharathi kannamma

  re MGR vs. Sivaji w/ MSV: I read an anecdote that Sivaji used to attend the song composing sessions and sleep - so MSV had full creative freedom. MGR OTOH bend nimiththiduvaar, will interfere in singer selection etc. E.g. 70s use of KJY. MSV would say that the song had to be changed to suit KJY's voice since he'd composed it w/ TMS in mind. MGR would overrule him & use KJY.
  
  GR: uyarntha manithan is good - but there are equally good if not better scores. e.g. rOjavin raaja etc. Even the remakes like sivakamiyin selvan, raaja had great songs.

  I think the best (my personal fav) among Sivaji-MSV-TKR combo is Pudhiya Paravai. This was Sivaji productions first movie and maybe he took special interest in the song compositions. To quote an example from that movie, the violin piece which comes along with P.Susheela's voice in the song "chittu kurivi mutham koduthu", nechale pull arikudhu. Amazing songs and amazing album. My dad was a great fan of MSV. So he had all the record disks and I grew with that music, until IR fascinated me with his Jhonny.
  
  G.Raghavan ---> In Uyarndha Manidhan, "naalai indha velai parthu" is a heart touching melody. I believe P.S got a national awards (those days when awards were meant for talent alone) for this song.

  Interesting topic for a typical MSV fan like me. But the list would be endless.
  
  As someone has put it, MSV has produced very good songs for Sivaji also. (Rajapart Rangadurai, Sivantha Mann, Avan Oru Sarithiram, Mannavan Vandhanadi, Vaira Nenjam, Gouravam, Sumathi En Sundari....)
  
  Also,all Sridhar Movies, KB movies, Muktha movies had good songs.
  
  Mallu song from Antha 7 Natkal 'Swara Raga Jathiyoude... ( Vani/Jayachnadran) is a great number.
  
  Can some one suggest a good web site repository of all MSV songs (not just popular ones)?

  Did ninaithale innikkum come after Oru Ilamai Oonjal Aadigarathu? Yengum Eppadhum and Sambom Siva Sambam are just out of this world. I wondered if IR's Yennadi Meenakshi came before these and if it was MSVs response to that song!
  
  MSV has got some fantastic songs in Malayalam too.
  
  Normal Man, what was the song in Jhonny that captivated u and u changed? For me, it was Senorita, I love u number that got me hooked to IR.
