TFM and Jazz

I'm interested in fusion of indian and jazz music . Can anyone recommend some tracks to me? I love the IRUVAR tracks from ARR...are there more such?

  listen to "Sketches of Bangalore"
  
  it's performed by:
  WDR Big band Koln and the karantaka college of percussion, all the tracks are fabulous.
  
  have alook onlone if youare unsuccesful lemme know I'll upload some tracks, also check out some of Nithin Sawhney's work, he did a very trip hop/jazz number fusing it with traditional indian music.

  The essence of jazz is spontaneity... i.e the way various musicians interact among themselves while playing continously and producing music that was never before practiced; thats what jazz is all about.
  
  Agreed, there is a strong rhythmic structure to jazz as a form of music... But I dont think that TFM, the way it functions, is an ideal place for Jazz. Here, things are more organized, refined and rehearsed... Nothing comes off the top of the head. No improvs or spontaneity.
  
  This applies not just to TFM but also to any film music in general.
