  clue 8 is for 9 and vice versa.

  Hope you have found a new site for yourself.If yes pl. provide a link. As a variation in the quiz you create you could probably run them reverse for us find the song and thins like that. Is that possible with sound forge. If not there is a shareware in ZDNET (search for wave ). We certainly have been appreciative of your work here. Aint we?

  perspiration sometimes rewards frustration caused by incompatibility between the level of expectation and return. There wasn't much motivation for me going by the sluggish participation and hence this thread sailed into the archives. Since you have mentioned about reverse run , i have got a couple of clips here that run reverse and thin out. It is possible with cool edit. I also had thoughts about grouping the interludes of solo pieces from different songs using an editor called "internet audio mix". But it requires a lot of patience!

  you are right for 1. I remember song un uthattOra sivappa also for its rare characteristic that it is one of very few (folk )songs NOT following the regular pallavi-charaNam(n times)-pallavi formula.

  you got that right , 4 is kARRukenna vaeli. The flute notes of 3 must be interesting that the reverse play produces a near optimal melody. It is a short clip, a forward play of this would make the song's identification very easy.
