I would like a listing of all Ilayaraja's Solo
Songs in TFM till date!

I know this is going to be a long exercise, but
I think it is worth the effort!

  This weekend I bought 'Kannuku Mai Eazhu' album. There is one song in that movie which is not listed. I believe that it is the second best song by IR besides 'Metti Oli..'.
  Poove Nee Naan Aagavum Neeyum... Kannuku Mai Eazhu.

  Eval Thane Penmani... from Periyamma is a very jolly song(fast) from IR. The lyrics praises the female and it seems IR liked it very much from the way he rendered it.

  The greatest solo song ever by raja in my opinion is from the film metti and the song is 'meti oli kaatrodu".iam listening to the song right now.
  the voice of raja sounds so different and very much refined compared to the other songs in the same period.mahendran's direction and illayaraja's music composing would be taken as examples in film institutes all over india and would remain as masterpieces in the years to come.

  6.) Thena Oodum (Bharani)-- soundtrack also has a Sujatha version of this song, which is less passionate

  My favorite IR solo that i've heard probably is 'Malligai Maalaikkatti' of Puthiya Raagam fame. Just listen to it... excellent melody and orchestration, a classic.
  Another classic is 'Bharani Bharani' of Puthu Nellu Puthu Naathu. I cannot help but become totally immersed in the song each time I listen.

  Only a downright "Nattan" will listen to that!
