'Pyramid Natarajan has come up with a new threat- if Simran refuses to complete the remaining scenes from the film 'Udhaya, he would go to the extent of stopping her honeymoon!

Simran, who got married on December 2nd had not yet completed her share of the work in the film 'Udhaya'. She still has to complete two song sequences. Pyramid Natarajan had gone to the Courts for getting 12 days of her call sheets to complete the film. Still, Simran is not so willing to complete the film. An enraged Natarajan is now threatening to take serious action against her.


He spoke to Cinesouth about this.


" 'Udhaya' was started two years ago by Azhagan Perumal, who was a student of Manirathnam. When the film was launched, Vijay and Simran were the leading stars in Tamil. AR Rehman was signed up for composing music. The film had such a good star-team.


My other film 'Sangamam' flopped, so I couldn't pour my money into this film. But, when I finally did manage to get some money, it was next to impossible to get the call sheets of Vijay and Simran. The film's songs had been released ages ago and they had become big hits too, but, still we haven't finished shooting the songs. - V.Natarajan

Movie is set to released :
Udaya has music by A.R.Rahman and the audio was launched six months back. Now ‘Pyramid’ Natarjan is hoping to complete the film and release it for Pongal 2004!

  My favourite songs from Udhaya are Thiruvallikeni Rani,and Udhaya Udhaya...these songs are superb. The violins in T.R are awesome and the Karthick and Sukwinder Singh combo sounds cool.In Udhaya Udhaya with Sadhana Sargam and Hariharan singing sounds great to. The way Sadhana Sargam sings 'Udhaya Udhaya' in the beginning of the song has this nice ring to it.

  I saw 'pookum malargal' in jaya or raj tv... its no.2 in their top 10 list or watever.. anyway coming to the point, Azhagan perumal doesnt seem to have any creativity... this song looks like a modified version of chinna chinna aasai with vijay going around the village and socializing with kids, elders etc... will have to see how the other songs are picturised...

  Jus watch the picturisation of 'Udhaya udhaya' song,such a melodious number picturised with stuoid dancing by the lead pair,a tasteless locale selection..but one understands that it was picturised under many constraints at last minute,but a creative dir would have definetely induced some liveliness to the picturisation,somehow Azhagam perumal doen't have it...One wonders what this man was doing all these years as Mani's(song picturisation Maestro) assistant.

  I think that it is mainly a matter of freedom and budget... This guy has really some talent... One should not forget that Mani made two or three average movies before becoming a really good director...
  
  Anyway I read that the movie was really bad... In fact there are one or two moments which are really silly, cliched... But I prefer this movie to thirumalai or bagavathy...

  My point was the whole thing. I did not watch just the funny dance sequences without audio. I watched video and HEARD the audio. It was just pathetic.

  Yes, there was only one person in the theater queue and one more joined because of the songs. That is 100% more turn-out.

  All the ppl i've asked (u know.. the ones who dont have ne kinda burning hatred for Rahman, who jus appreciate good music..) have liked Udhaya. And so do i.
  
  If it's ur idea of fun, trying to poke ur nose into every ARR thread spewing venom on everything he does.. sure, go ahead and do just that. Yuvan Shankar Raja-ku evalo releases irundhurukku indha maasam mattume! Adha pathi pesa onnume kidaikaliya? Pesanam-nu sollalai, summa oru GK-ku keten. :)

  Excatly is this what AVM saravanan and KS ravikumar told you to say?
  Since nobody cared about YSR's music in both the films, i guess you have little options left than opening your bad mouth.
  
  Have rediff or sify or cinesouth or galatta reviewed These albums?
  Probably they thought its not even worth a review.
