Statistical comparison between IR and ARR

NM - Number of Movies

I have included 70 repeat movies of ARR essentially he has scored music for 59 movies in 10 year period something which he did in one year
more than one occasion. It is like comparing a hill with mountain. ARR has loo...........ong way to go before being bracketed with IR.

  Yes, I agree that ST has not won matches in second innings yet, but what ever match we have won it is largely because of his contribution. 51 and 281 from person like laksman comes ones in a bluemoon.
  
  Again, regarding BL's match winning abilities, then I believe that he has been largely helped by his team mates than what ST has been getting here. See a team, which cannot chase a 16 runs , you can't expect an thing from that.
  
  153*...yes I know, but I was refering to the match before that 200+ where the match was finished by bowlers. Even in 153, there were players with BL who could stay with him. Can you expect Srinath to play such an inning. The Wicket keeper is the last batsman in India. India also did not get huge score to chase oflate and when ever there had been a chase, either the score was too large or we crumbled to 81 itself chasing 120.
  
  But, a person who from an avg of 38.x has risen to 58.x in 5-6 years and an other batsman who with an avg of 56.x has fallen to 48.x till recently thru the same period..you cannot compare both. ST has played more matches that BL..so theoritically avg should slide..but what has happened is it has risen. A person who is good enough in ODI as well as in Test...you shouldn't be taking one aspect and try to scrutinize on that.
  But, all is not over..ST knows what is expected of him. He should win matches...but for which India should create ideal situation...should have some body who can hold bat in the tail. India should stop playing compromise cricket.
  
  Its like saying IR gave great hits those days which were hits in all A,B and C areas, but ARR has largly been in A and B. We know, IR's market know..
  
  But, I am not saying that ARR is better that IR...but ST is better that BL when you take a overall comparison in cricket.

  That IR and ARR reference is only make the ST BL discussion part of this thread. Apologies , if it had heart anybody...Just to answer those who wanted to bring this thread in line...I did try to bring in line..

  I never said BL was a better player than ST.....and neither did i doubt ST's capabilities for producing a match winning innings.........tis just that he hasnt produced one in tests.....btw in the 153* innings BL had a total 100 run stand with ambrose and walsh (two of the greatest batsmen??)

  I can understand your sarcasm. But, I wanted to convey the exact point. We have even better batsmen in Srinath & prasad who could only stand for 1% of that partnership. Unfortunately, in cricket..sachin can't play a single man catchhu.
