ILLAYARAAJA & A.R. RAHMAN JOINS HAND TOGETHER FOR KAMAL HASSAN'S NEW HOME PRODUCTION

  Ilayaraja has agreed in principle to compose the music for 
  
  
  the poems that will lace the film. Negotiations are on with

  It sounds that IR will be scoring for some poems. Thats all and it did not mention that he will be working together with ARR. IR will be scoring some portion and ARR will be scoring some other portions independently.
  
  Long back there was a movie, kaNNil theriyum kathaigal in which each song was scored by different MDs, though never worked together. [I guess, IR scored 'naanoru ponnOviyam kaNdaen adhilE' and shankar ganesh scored 'naan unna nenachchaen'] I feel tht the above article sounds something similar.

  'KaNNil theriyum kadhaigaL' padaththukku MSV, GKV,IR, S-G, VK ???? scored the music.
  Same way for the Malayalam film I hope.
  
  Still I can tell that "Nothing Is Imposible" in this world. One day IR - ARR together will score the music for a film. You will all going to see that.

  I can't agree that ARR only scoring Morden songs.. He also scored some good songs like "NarumugaiyE, NarumugaiyE..." from Iruvar,
  "poovukkuL oLithurkkum adhisayamE...." from Jeans
  "KaNNukku Mai azhagu...." from pudhiya mugam
  "Margazhi poovE..." from May Madham
  "Mettu Podu..." & "En kadhalE..." from Duet
  are melodies.. and there were no Rock, Disco or Mordern pop, etc. He can also score such kind of song..
  
  Where as Raja is also not a village MD. He scored fine morden songs..

  "Kalakalamaga kadhalukku N-angaL arpaNam.." from Punnagai Mannan

  "...Vanengilum Deepavali..." from Mundram Pirai.
  "illamai idho, idho...." from Sagalakala vallavan.

  very glad to think about this. If its going to happen TFM will reach another mile stone.
  
  See there are possiblities for this rumer to be true.
  
  1. Kamal- who thinks different and worked with both music directros, and also he is a mad to make his film perfect. As kamal really trying to get a good music director for "Marudha Nayagam" ,
  He may try to blend these to top guys (Top in India).
  
  2. "Marudhanayagam"'s Music director is unknown. And it is in suspense, before 2 months, I don't know the present details.
  
  3. ARR did a very great job with IR in Punnagai Mannan, that bit of music, u can understand their mental co-ordination like IR and Hariprasad Chwrasiya in "Nothing But Wind", ARR and Kadhri Gopalnath" in Duet, ARR and Hariduvar mangalam in Jeans, and lot more.
  
  4. They can achieve. If they love music, they can achieve, If they feel Music is their own creation, that is the loss for us.
  
  5. As IR always says that he get tunes from air, and ARR always says "Ellam Iraivan Seyal" , Let us hope, we will get an Oscar award for "Marudhanagam" , music done by IR and ARR.
  
  6.Regarding Marudhanagam:
  Do u want perfection or time pass. O sorry, u may like any thing , Buy a true "Kalaignnan" never can give up his work just for others words or anything else in the world. You know Sivaji, he never give up anything for others sayings.
  
  If the film is once made , thats it. U never can repair it. U know story about "Jurasic Park","Titanic", "VeeraPandiya KattaPomman"
  
  Ofcourse adding to the Perfection, Kamal may expect to prove himself in the world level. Please guys let us encourage this "Kalaignanan" who is bleeding for "Kalai". My hearty greetings to Kamal - "Kalai".

  I just wanted to entertain TFM fans so i wrote
  those lines. Mr. Prakash, i never said anything
  like IR can only score village music and ARR can
  score only western types.
  
  Yarukku ethu nalla varumo athe pannathanga
  nalla irukkum. But if u really want to argue
  about IR, i am ready. I can assure Mr. Prakash
  that ARR CAN NEVER score music for a song which
  will exactly fit with situations which are in
  Village movies. He may start well but end up
  with hitech stuff. Please take just this bit
  as an example, 'Inji iduppalaki' and 'potri
  paadadi penne' from Devar Magan.
  
  You can also argue that IR can never score
  western as ARR is doing now. I agree. Generation
  change, Annakkili made a turn to TFM, also ROJA
  made a turn to TFM.
  
  Kilakku cheemaiyile is a village movie music
  by ARR. Eththanai TFM fans athilirukka songs
  ellam gnabakam vaichirukkangannu oru survey
  edunga. Agni natchathirm and Anjali koncham
  rich people oriented stuff, music by IR, athile
  songs ellam think panni parunga.
  
  Rendu perum sernthu Music podum alavukku oru
  classic story kidaikkanum, good director should
  be ready to direct the film. A producer like
  KTK, AVM or Rajkamal has to produce it. I used to
  think always onething friends,

  solra namakke ivlo argue panna thonrathe, antha
  mathiri oru movie panna producers and directors
  evlo yosippanga. Anyway my best wishes for both
  good guys to win in case if they join hands.

  IR and Kamal has give a chance to KR to score music for Marudhanayagam.KR only have one tamil movie now on his hand after Kadhala Kadhala.IR believe that KR can score music for this movie.First,Kamal want IR to score music but IR refuse because he have many tamil,telungu,malayalam,kanadam and one hindi movies.So IR give a chance to KR.Kamal also agree to this because Kamal very impresed with KR music in KK.I think IR also help his son to score music for this film.

  KR is busy in HFM. So he has given the job to Yuvan SankaraRaaja who has vowed to push ARR IR and KR out of TFM by his mesmerising music. Kamal was very much impressed by his 'Dappanguthu' (sahikkalai) music in Kalyana galaaattaaa. and Velai.

  The concept above seems like too many cooks will spoil the food.By the way when it comes to film music.too many minds working for a same film with different creative attitudes may not be a good i dea. I prefer ILAYARAAJA alone to score the music.for he is unbeatbale and a genius in giving the Bacground score which no one can refute.being a historical movie..i think the mood of the film is more important than the songs, hence IR could be the best bet.
