QUE: What is the most likeable feature of my favorite singer Unnikrishnan?

Thenali: He won the National Award for his very first song ('Yennavalae' in 'Kaadhalan'), but there weren't many songs that suited his voice. So, people only rarely get to hear his voice. He has the same effect that Madhavan has on women. His performances are full of women spectators.

  played keys for him once. He is a very humble and easy to talk to. Got that touch in delivering love songs especially. Recently..sonnaalum is a nice rendition. Apart from that, Uyirum Neeye...is excellent.

  Anis, it the link that you are trying to draw that is difficult to understand here, 'His voice is something special with love and i am very admiring'.
  Unni with his great bass voice and his ability to express the otherwise 'unexpressed', embedded within the tune is probably the greatest ever playback singer. 'kAtrE en vAsal vanthai', one such phrase is good enough to cajole the winds into responding to him. 'sonnAlum kEtpathillai' can any 'kanni' resist this love-filled, titillating observation.....pOthum pA....I was just trying to see how far I could go with cheating myself.......this is the end.
  My response to the first song was 'kAtrE yEn vAsal vanthAi'. But you see, I have the pre-requisites to enter this thread. I am Unni's greatest fan, he is my greatest guru in resolving certain deeper mysteries of life. Such as, 'What does it take to not to be a good playback singer'. Thanks Unni.
