How many?? How many??

All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

I counted how many films ARR's done.
Including those under production it came to an exact 100!!(not counting dubbed films).
But am not able to figure out how many original OSTs he's done which r already released.
HELP!

If you check out any of ARR's numerous home pages, you will easily get the information you want (God knows what you want to do with it :))

I can give you the required answer, but let us see you do some homework - at least. :)

i already went there and checked
There were 260 items!
i counted the originals in that list and including the Under production Films, there was exactly 100!!
(height of vettiness, isnt it?)
but ne thing for ARR!!

magix, if ur tired of counting, try copying pasting the table onto a spreadsheet and then u can sort it and manipulate it and find all the other numbers u want.

Alaipayuthey is his 50th movie and Star Wars Episode I is his 250th movie. John Williams, James Horner, Andrew Lloyd Webber are all ARR in disguise. Because whatever those western guys do that eventually imported and used in TFM or HFM by ARR. People celebrate him to be next HIM. Does he deserve it ,nope other copycats were brought into market like Deva, Harris Jeyaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Karthik Raja, Bharatwaj, SARetc. But its good to see MDs like barani come out with originality that too some Indianized instruments.

ARR sincehe scores music Bombay dream people call him a genius. Did he score music for a westernized play nope. They still going to utilize old hindi songs(recycled this time in English Devuda!!! like Alli Arjuna, Star etc.) in the play.

Once again ARR as his name specifies All Ready Recycled(ARR) comes out with flying colors and all the copyphiles with a chingchuck in their hands go after him pathetic. Now I know why hear all the chinkchuck in ARR's songs its nothing but all his blind fans with that instrument.

Get a life buddies appreciate and welcome the original.

But you forgot the "greatest" copier of all, saatchaat namma Ilayaraaja, better known as IR which is short for Inspired Recorder. :)

The dokku dokku sound from the tabla in IR's music is nothing but "oorukaa potaalum, virunthunu solluvoam" of his fans. Sounds very much like jingu-jak, doesn't it? :)

I haven't listened to Bharani more. But, I unluckyly happened to see Charlee chaplin in an empty theatre with bharani as MD. There is a song called
"Mamu mamu maamu
lolly poppu maamu"

WhyNot - it was not the word "Kutchery" that was wrong - but the intention..... everyone clearly knew what the intention was, so don't try to do ur regular "jing, chuck" jalra and say what "no jalra" did was correct..... sorry, if i had sounded harsh.....

well, so, the "TIT for TAT" policy is ok ROTFL ??? yes, i do agree, many times there are lot of guys who degrades ARR..... that is also equally bad.....

I am pleasantly surprised when I meet a civil IR fan. Eden is another gem of a IR fan. I hope I meet more of your kind so that I can change my mind, from the impression I first got when I came upn this forum.

ROTFL - its not fear..... its just that "fed up" thing..... u know there used to be days when we did have this much fight between IR fans/ARR fans - but not much of *personal* attacks.... of late i see lots and lots of personal attacks.... not only on the MD's (IR/ARR), but on the fans too..... but then, if its just the same old way then what's the fun in it right :-)...

well, look at the *many* threads that degrade's IR.... can i assume that its ARR fans who does that ? and can i go ahead and assume *all* ARR fans are alike ? that would be a total nonsense assumption.... similar is the vice-versa case.... i hope everyone understands it.....

one thing that we can all do to keep the enthu up is, IGNORE any kind of *rubbish* postings.... well, its hard many times u know......
