what about KADAL KONDEN songs

all songs of the KADAL KONDEN are good. it's very different from THULLLUVADHO ILAMAI.

  it has wonderfulll songs Yuvan shankaraja has done really nice job. specially i like Unnikrishanan & Sujatha's Nenjoduthaan... its really superz.

  All of the songs are superb. YSR has done another great job in all of tyhe songs. I especially like Nenjodu and Kadhal Mattu Purivathillai. Vijay Yesudas has impressed me a lot with his vocals.

  I'm listenin to KK song as i write...very nice album...nejoda is no doubt a brilliant song...but i cant get into it as much i wud've liked because its an almost direct copy of an english by The Corrs called Runaway (which was also a super song)- but th album was really good- i found that Harish's song grew on me a lot- the Devathai Kanden. good job- wouldnt put it before Udhaya, but its a good album.

  I did listen to Runaway by The Corrs and I feel that YSR took a lot of inspiration from the song.It cannot be classified as a direct lift.IMHO.

  Raagam i would classify it to be "Heavily inspired" but not a direct lift as the actual song is completely different and the key changes in the charanams.
  
  A thoroughly effective piece of inspiration however.

  Udayaa songs Udayaa Udayaa also has inspiration from Mayee Mayoo of Lata Mangeshkar's Meera Bhajan.

  KK is a sure fire creative work of YSR. Kudos to him.
  My pick in the order
  1. Manasu rendu - The best IMO. I esp liked SM's brash way of singing this song
  2. Kathal mattum - Vijay can still improve.
  3.Nenjodu
  4. Devathaiyai kanden.
  Nothing to say about theme music and 18 vayathil .

  ysr is good in KK but if u see all the music had done before by ARR.ysr is trying to follow ARR step and star like ARR but ARR is very good because he tunes music differently in Udhaya that ysr can only follow how to tunes music like ARR but cant get ahead from ARR.if u see the 18 vayatil songs is done before this by ARR in baila more.ARR is different that no one can reach similar as him

  I suppose somebody else loves YSR and wanted to defend this inspiration and posted a response to your query in my name...yup, "Karthik S (@ 217.44.99.219)" is not me!!
  
  However, I do agree with that post...the inspiration is limited to the prelude of the Corrs number only. I've added it to my site today too...this lift reminds me of the RD Burman lift of the prelude of a Procol Harem number 'A whiter shade of pale' to create a masterpiece of a track, 'tum ho meri dil ki dhadkan' for the Amitabh starrer 'Manzil'. While I'd rate RDB's output as an absolute gem, the quality of Yuvan's output is debatable, at least in my opinion. So in effect I beg to differ from the 2nd line of my namesake's post!

  Hi all,
  The theme music of kadhal konden, if viewed in line with the film is one of the best theme music compositions of recent time. The picturisation of the theme music in the film's climax also is rivetting. Added value to the album and the movie is strong lyrics. Lyrics which dont get crazy in trying to be innovative, but lyrics which convey the situation of the scene effectively. Hats of to Muthukumar and team.
  Really a good movie and a good album. I am on it at least 3 hrs a day for the past week.

  It is sad to see vaytherical from you!YSR is the hottest MD at the moment and KK is a great album.Even hardcore ARR fans have to agree that it is a great album. That doesn't take away from boys or any other album!

  but in KK....YSR..did lifted the tune form Anggun's A Rose in the Wind....for Kangal Rendum Parke...
