ARE THE DAYS OF PLAYBACK SINGERS OVER

NOWADAYS WE FIND THE MUSIC DIRECTORS AND ACTORS ARE SINGING LOT OF SONGS BY THEMSELVES AND DO NOT LIKE TO GIVE OPPURTUNITY TO OTHERS. WILL THIS MEAN END OF PLAY BACK SINGING AS PLAY BACK SINGERS ARE ENTIRELY DEPENDENT UPON MUSIC DIRECTORS

  NO! ... MDs singing is nothing new ... i don think there has been a rapid increase in it to suggest that the days of playback singers will be over ... currently we have more new singers popping up ... it is not like those days where there were just 2 singers for a film ... looking at all these developments, makes me wonder abt the reason there is such a thread! ;-)
