  Do we really have movies like this?
  
  hehehe i dont know telugu!!
  
  The only thing i like about Telugu movies is
  
  "KRISHNA's" exercise.. :-)
  
  All those rain song, saree dance should strictly be prohibited!!! After Kannada movies, Telugu field makes the worst movies alongwith Hindi.
  In the last 20 years they would have hardly made 4 or 5 decent movies. Lot of them are copied from Tamil or directed by Tamil director.

  There is a movie 'Alludu garu' which is pretty decent movie *ing Sobhana & Mohanbabu. But again, it is a remake of Priyadarshan's Malayalam movie.

  This is unfortunately true. Except K Viswanath, Vamsy, Bapu and Ram Gopal Varma's handfull of 'original' telugu movies, most of the good ones are either remakes or by directors like MR, KB, BaluMahendra etc.
  
  Most of the films cater to the mass audience, and people who like decent films are forced to watch films from other languages.
  
  Currently, most of the good directors in telugu are not making films any more.. and most of the recent telugu films (except a very few) have been pathetic. I guess the situation is only a little better in Tamil. Except a few films like 'Azagi', 'Kutty' .. I didn't find many of them that can be termed as classics.
