I do think kamal had tried his level best to produce a movie to hollywood standard, and he failed proving to us in alavandaan. Opinions

  ya really alanavdan or abhay is a big dissapointment for me.....
  
  kamal is confused because he has no competition in india nowadays....if he has a strong competition probably he would give better works....

  There is no other person to equal status for kamal in india as well as our people in masala view so there is no other hero,producer,director they are not interest to take risk like kamal
  But kamal already tried and failed following movies satya,kuna,mahanadhi,heyran,alavandan,anbeswiam,vivirumandi but only one movie live for ever devarmagan with great hero of tamilnadu shivaji aiya

  FYI, Virumandi is not a flop movie. Producer, distributors and the exhibitors gained a lot with that film
