Harris Jeyaraj's sarcasm words on A.R.Rahman

Opening line of Harris Jayaraj's acceptance speech on receiving the 2004 Tamil Filmfare Award for Best Composer, "Tamizhnattu makkallukku nadulaye irundhu tamizhukkaga vela seyiradhala peruma padaren"

Translation: "I take pride in being amongst the people of Tamil
Nadu and working for Tamil"

The thing is ,he said im proud to be in Tamil Nadu and working for
Tamil. I mean saying proud to be working for tamil would have been
enough. Indirectly this means there may be others (OFcourse ARR) who
may be busy working abroad or in bombay,working for other
languages,and not doing enough tamil

  Rahman did films like Pudhiya Mugam, Pavithra, MayMadham... which, as far as I'm concerned are not great tamil movies but the songs are among the best ones of ARR!
  
  So please stop giving such stupid arguments... Look at YSR... He is really more talented... compared to HJ... He is also composing for crappy movies but he is able to churn out some good numbers...

  Hey Idiots! Dont give stupid interpretations. Even if hj did ment that, there is nothing wrong in it! Because that is the fact. ARR is too busy in bombay and doesnt concern abt tamil and tamil nadu. HJ said he is proud to be a and to work for tamil movies in tamil nadu. So as a tamil we are proud to support HJ rather than ARR who is proud to represent BOMBAY over tamil nadu.

  HJ shuld concentrate more on making music rather than making anti-ARR statements.......ARR is a towering example of silence under criticism,calculative speech,tremendous god-loving characteristics can win u the WORLD...... whereas a person who was more talented than ARR started criticising him for his innovations and spit fire on him and see where he went with his friends deserting him and his sons struggling to make a mark still.....
