ARR is appreciated by many for his bass guitar works. I think its time we started enumerating his bass achievements.

  My favorite bass of ARR is "Theendai" song of ESK - in the 2nd interlude. Its a great bass score that undergoes a modal shift with the lead to produce an excellent effect.
  
  Some other catchy bass pieces:
  1. Minnale - May madham

  -Thodath Thoda Malarndhadhenna (a perfect bass backdrop for the stutter step by the keyboard rhythms,bird coos, smoky flute, and strings)
  
  -Anbae Anbae Kollaathae (a thick bass propels the entire song set to sharp veenai and varying rhythm interludes)

  IMO nEtru illadha maatram is a very good song, but has a very simple bass track. Buyt chinna chinna aasai is excellent.

  But the one I mentioned in ESK is great indeed.
  
  ARR's bass scores are usually loops(I wonder if he given many that are not). Some more simple catchy bass pieces:
  "Dile se re"(Dile se), "kaathalikkum" (Kaadhalan).
