Tamilthirai television launch expected

Already new releases are getting covered by the existing channels. What kind of fare can we expect from this new channel?

After months of deliberations, Tamizhthirai Television (Ttv), the 24-hour entertainment channel floated by a group of Tamil directors and producers, is all set to hit the screen. As Managing Director of Tamil Entertainment Art Media Limited (the company that will run Ttv), R. K. Selvamani, puts it, "filmgoers and rural populace are our target audience. Noted directors have agreed to make films for the channel. Film producers will bear the expenses."

  what is the ultimate aim of starting this channel?
