Many of my friends have related this song to a tamil film song, all because of the way the piece ends. Can you find that song? Also share your feedback on this song.

good job on bharatham song.
I could relate to the lyrics in so many places.
esp the part 'akilum muzuthum alanthalum
anniya mannai mithithalum bharatham endrendrum engal uyirthiru nadagum' very touching
oozing with partriotic feeling
excellent.

Sriks/Udhaya..why dont you guys actively look for a chance to score for a movie ? The songs now have reached a level of sophistication in composition/recording that it is high time you guys should try to take it mainstream.
(I liked the bhAratam song, the daddy's girl song also is very cool. I felt Alisha sounded like Sarah McLaghlan's in the way she sings.Maybe this song will get you guys recognition here as well).

K, Thanks! Nice of you to encourage us, I am very happy you liked it, Basically we need to try hard; we are still having a day job,
With gods grace and well wishes from people like you, we will hope for the best.
As far as last 2 tracks are concerned, the best part for all of us is we have done 2 songs in 2 languages with the same crew! I consider this crossover music kind of tough. Still learning it.
Alisha is great talent, I was lucky to find her, without my team [Udhaya , Alisha , Sridhar and all others]nothing could be possible, and thanks to Director Arun who gave this opportunity to explore.

Srik, I enjoyed Daddy's Girl. Alisha foundation in western vocal culture is evident in this song. You were able to sync into the western song style naturally - vocal and choral arrangements are neat...Quality of song is way too professional.
Udhaya's lyrics are very nice...this is the first time i could enjoy his lyrics without somebody translating it for me. Alisha's voice is Sweet...

Sriks ..in daddys girl you have used the strings very well. I am pretty sure, people who are used to the POP music here, will surely be impressed. It appears to me that you are taking some indian film music conventions into the american pop music scene, probably this is why you call it 'crossover' (not just culturally/linguistically). Please share other (non-indian) people's feedback here. I am curious to see how your style/format fares in other cultures. Coming from listening to indian film music and little bit of classic rock, new age etc I find your style highly entertaining and satisfying, keeping my interest alive throughout the whole song.

Re. Bharatham-
Udhaya:
Got a lump in the throat.. Very well written lyrics.
Srikanth:
Kudos.. Bharatham is an extremely well done piece.
P.S.: Are you *the* Srikanth on whom Rediff had carried an article some time back?
Anyone interesting in composing a tune for this piece of mine?
