In 5 years from now, who do you see ruling TFM?
Will ARR still be #1?
Who will disappear?
Will there be hot new composers?
What will the state of music be?
Will Western music thrive over classical music?
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?

ARR will continue to rule provided he keeps coming up with something new as usual. I dont think any of the current ARR Clones(wannabes) can become #1. But if someone come up with a new trend (i am probably very vague here) instead of just composing music thats sounds like ARRs, then they can surely topple ARR, just like when ARR brought this new trend with roja, which totally washed out IR.

Karthik Raja will take film song composing to the highest level (that is he will somehow try to reach his father' levels), already done but audience has no knowlege to notice his sophistication. ARR will leave films and make stage musicals in India, audience will grow for this art form. Yuvan Shankar will produce private pop albums. Only person today to carry forward film music legacy is Karthik Raja. Harris Jayaraj if he focuses hard will also make Chennai a great city. IR will leave film music totally and focus on writing score for Hollywood films (don't trust Shyamalan to hand it down, but Gurindher Chadha will be a key to IR' Hollwyood presence) and direct remotely from Chennai using Teleconferencing technology. Of course, IR' film songs will feature in Hollywood thrillers of the future. I am now in the process in building a body like Arnold Sivasanker and remodel my face to achieve these dreams of mine ;---)))

Very thoughtful response, "Fan of Music."
But i think you are sucking up to IR too much.
Is it because you are part of newtfmpage and is related to IR and his crew.
You can stop my threads; but i'll reveal the truth about you phonies running TFM

Waste of time to talk about that.TF industry is changing tremendously every day.No one could hold their position See recent all movies by ARR, maniratnam, rajni, kamal,etc..
See the BABA starred superstar!!!!! rajnikanth with our great ARR(telephone tunes) went super flop.
Right now it is a growing stage of all new MD's HJ,YSR,KR,VS.
Within the five year somebody may come from some where like manisharma, kapileswar.
We can not predict that.

I can still see it in Kodambakkam only. Why any plans to shift it to Madurai or somewhere?
