  I was at Yesudas concert in Chicagon June 19. With the exception of a few fast numbers, the other 90% new mallu songs (from 7:30 to 11:30!) were so boring. KJY sung mostly songs to God and he was also kind of preaching saying that if we are singing sing not only in Churches but also in Temples, etc.. He even prayed for peace between India Pakistan. KJY's conveying message of peace and worship through his songs. His son Vijay sang some boring Hindi and Tamil numbers. A new find sang Kannodu Kaanbedallam extremely well.

  Dear SitaRam, I contempt your evaluation of the songs sung in chicago on ground that your respond reflected your sheer ignorance of music. music is often compared to drawing- picturer for, the good artist has to draw the picture as it is shoud be drawn, he cannot simply add water to it. simlar was the case with yesudas he sang as it shoud be sung. each song has its own soul and if you have found it boring that reveals your ignorance and inability not the singer. In fact a good singer just reproduces what has been created.Therefore you have to appreciate him instead of criticising. Thank you.

  The interview is so helpful that we can know a great deal about yesudas. It was because of Hari's intelligent questions and influence that so many good things came out in the inerview. All the pictures inserted in the web site adds colour to it. I wholeheartedly enjoyed the articles as well as colourful prctures.Therfor, I heartly appreciat Hari on his onderful work on the site making it very impressive and exciting.Thank you very much.Binu v.j
