This will sound absurd on first thought but i have a strange feeling that vaseegara and the titanic song "every night in my dreams" sound similar. They have a same kind of feel and structure.
Both the songs start with a similar kind of a flute piece, which also gets played throught both the songs at apt places. Both the songs are in "urai nadai" fashion, as they call in Tamil, which means these songs sound more like spoken than sung.
Even the song structure is similar. i.e.
"Vaseegara, en nenjinikka, un ponmadiyil, thoonginaal podhum" is equivalent to "every night, in my dreams, i see you, i feel you".
Even the lines in charanam "...solla kooda theriyaadhe" sounds like "...wherever you are"
Mabbe im just hallucinating, but something is basically similar in both the songs. Dunno whatz it coz im not a techie. Could be one among the jargons "scale, meter, arrangement, notes, rhythm structure...what not ". Anybody with me ?
All said and done, at the end of the day, i like Vaseegara more than "my heart will go on".
