  Jayaraj was working with Rahman for many flims as a Keybord player.it is impossible to say that he is the BRaIn for Rahman. The Songs from Minnele sounds very Commercial. he has adopted ARR
  stlye . The first song THEEYE ALAGIYA THEEYE has the sounds from English Oldies and Britneys New songs.lets see his perfomance in the Backround music. I dont think he can really can competitate with

  ARR lead Indian music, once. It can change any time (or changed may be). When you see Theeye has sounds from Britney new songs, it means that he is following ARR completely :) BGM is never a point for ARR. So you are correct that he can't compete with ARR there.

  You are perfectly true that it can change at
  any time as ARR replaced IRaja in early 90's. But watch carefully. One can Only Lead when he brigs his own stlye rather taking from others. I dont tell that ARR gives his own music. He too took a lot from western
  e.g :-
  telephone manipol - the beats are from ACE OF BASE -AllTHAT SHE WANTS.
  
  but what makes him as a leader is the time perfection where the others lack now a days.
  the songs are good in Minnele because of its nice lirics too.
  its really very nice to see the TAMIL MUSIC & DIRECTORS HAS ALREADY BECOME AS INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS.
